Women’s Care of Florida wins $35,000 ProSys/Cisco Wireless Networking Solution

Women’s Care of Florida will receive Cisco wireless communications networking technology, including hardware and services, worth $35,000. The award was presented on December 11, 2008. The contest was open to businesses and nonprofits in Tampa, Florida. Judges based their decision on determining the ways in which wireless network technologies would improve the participant’s operational efficiency and productivity, enhance sales and marketing capabilities and increase their business impact to the community. “We are pleased to provide Women’s Care of Florida with the latest in wireless technology,” said Michael Hritz, Cisco Business Development Manager for ProSys. Cliff Hogan, CIO of Women’s Care of Florida said that the Cisco wireless network solution will improve overall patient care. “A wireless solution will allow us to more cost-effectively roll out our Electronic Medical Records program.
